“ Just have a phenomenal supper at the new Thai Leaf (opened 2 and a half weeks ago). It is a small family owned place. We had the crispy duck, massaman curry, traditional chicken salad with roasted rice, an eggplant dish, and cashew chicken. Prices are very, very reasonable given the high cost of other restaurants in the area and the large portion sizes at Thai Leaf. Rice also comes with the meal as opposed to other places that you have to pay extra for it. Prices ranged from 12.95 for veg entrees with rice to 16.95 for more exotic items. Portion sizes were large, in some cases almost enough for 2. Service was very attentive and accommodating. Parking in front is free. Lunch specials are 11.95-16.95. ”
“ The best drunken noodle I ever had in a while. Highly recommended. The noodles are just right! Portion is big. Love ”
“ One of the most authentic Thai food in DC. Northeastern Thai dishes, especially Som Tum and Spicy pork liver salad, are super tasty. Pad See Ew is also very close to the one offered in Thailand. more importantly, the price is unbeatable. Highly recommended. ”
“ Nice local Thai joint offering great takes on the staples (pad Thai, drunken noodles, pad see ew, etc.) as well as other authentic dishes and exceptional Thai ice tea varieties. Good value in terms of meals' portion size to cost. The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff is attentive and friendly. ”
“ Best Thai food in all of the DMV and extremely affordable food. This was easily the most authentic pad thai I’ve ever had. Definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in Arlington ”
“ Went here with a friend for lunch and we had a delightful time! The food was yummy (we got quite a few items - all good - but our favorites were the pad thai and mango sticky rice) and served very quickly. But we were most impressed with the service. So attentive and kind! Would happily be back :) ”
“ This is my third time coming to this place and first time dining in. As always, it’s very clean and the ambiance is really nice. The service was really good! The food is amazing! I loved the duck roll and my faves are all their salads! The portions are really big and shareable. And why don’t you look at that crab meat on the fried rice! I hope more people will come and support this place because they deserve it. Will definitely come back for more! ”
“ I lived in Thailand for 7 years and this restaurant is the closest most authentic food thai food I’ve ever had in the USA. It’s a very simple restaurant, but the prices are unbeatable and genuinely better than any other Thai place I’ve tried. I always come back, and I love how casual and no frills it is. Just the best in the DMV! ”
